Dr. Mirfin Mpundu, DrPH, MBA, MPH, RPH is the Director of ReAct (Action on Antibiotic Resistance) Africa and the Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement Lead for the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) responsible for Africa. Dr. Mpundu is a registered clinical pharmacist and public health specialist with over 30 years extensive experience in global health policy
and security. A global advocate for AMR and equitable-access to healthcare, who is passionate about providing multiple stakeholders with technical support in AMR National Action Plans development and implementation. He is also the Co-chair of the External Advisory Board of the Newton AMR Drug Discovery Program and is an honorary fellow at the University of KwaZulu Natal.
