This was one of the most amazing opportunities, to meet young people from across the continent and share thoughts on how we can better the health of our continent and the world at large. If ever one would want to make an impact, I have learnt that breed some young leaders and you have invested a fortune into the future. There is a lot of work to be done, and the small doors opened by this program are just but the beginning. Throughout all institutions of learning, there is a very big role that students can play to stop the impending pandemic or rather silent tsunami of antimicrobial resistance, and if there is any little bit that can be done; let it be at this level.
