I have been able to pick up a lot from AMRLEP program. I learnt the health and economic burden of AMR which involve death and falling of the global GDP respectively. However, something can be done about this before this slow moving pandemic hits us hard. Furthermore, primary health care is the key which involves prevention of infections through good hygiene and sanitation. I have as well learnt that implementation of projects to create awareness to the people in communities about the slow moving pandemic and teaching them how best they can respond to reduce the anticipated negative impacts. I have been able to organize world antimicrobial awareness week activities like the online AMR awareness campaign, AMR webinars, and grand rounds on AMR within Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital Uganda  and hospital outreaches. I have also been able to come up with AMR research proposal aswellas the AMR project.
