Anastacia is a finalist undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the College of Health Sciences at Makerere University in Uganda. She enjoys challenging herself to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems. She uses her time to think of ways to inspire a one health approach especially among people in professions outside human medicine. She has worked with OneHealthLessons.com through which she was able to give one health lessons to students aged 8 to 10 years old. She continues to work towards inspiring a one health approach, especially in regards to fighting Antimicrobial Resistance through her roles; as the country lead in Uganda, and project lead of the Students Against Superbugs (SAS) Africa gamification project.
